MIRACLE OPEN BIBLE CHURCH

OUR HISTORY

 

Miracle was founded in 1973 by Rev. and Mrs. Errol Wright, ministers from Montego Bay, who responded to the call of God on their lives. The church began in a community cen- tre under a makeshift tent and today is housed in a two- storey building accommodating 800 members and visitors each Sunday morning. The church has been a commu- nity focused ministry from inception, reaching out through its basic school, gymnasium, skills training school, social outreach programs, community upliftment programmes, school assistance programme, visitation and assistance to infirmaries, such as Boys and Girls Homes and mental institutions.

 

Miracle Church is a multifaceted Christian ministry with concentrations in the Arts, Music, Education, Sports and Social Outreach. The church which started with four (4) departments and auxiliaries now boasts seven departments namely Music and Arts Department, Evangelism and Missions Department, Overcomers Department, Intercessory Department, Social Outreach Department, Auxiliaries Department and Family Life Ministries each with its own sub- divisions.

 

We have come this far by faith leaning on the Lord and trusting in His holy word. We look with great anticipation to what the Lord is going to do for the next leg of our journey. We do so with confidence, knowing that:

will complete it until the day."
